In whitewater, eat at mom's cafe or pizza place. Grace Hill winery is on grace hill road 3/4 mil north of ks196, has free tours and $5 wine tastings on Saturdays, call for info. Hunters bait shop, ne12th on north side of east lake park, has snacks and drinks. First mile south of whitewater is dirt, if not passable detour one mile east to butler road.
